    A-Impact Advisors, a wholly owned subsidiary of Asia Impact, is seeking a motivated Research & Investment Analyst to join our team for a six-month internship. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in research while providing valuable support to the investment function, helping to bridge the gap between these two critical areas.

    • The Role

    Supporting the investment process from sourcing to portfolio management and reporting. The intern will assist in finding suitable investment opportunities, analyze proposals and documentation received, identify critical areas for further analysis, store and present the information received in the required formats. Furthermore, the intern will be exposed to the negotiation process, legal documentation, portfolio monitoring and governance. Tasks might include desk research on companies and industries, participating in calls and meetings, preparing notes and investment presentations. Occasionally, the intern will be asked to work on tasks aimed at facilitating the investment process.   Interns will achieve the following training goals: · Sectorial & Company Analysis · Finanical Analysis and Due Diligence · Presentation of Investment Proposals · Internal Reporting Interns will be able to gain the following competences: · The intern will have the opportunity to improve his financial modelling skills, the ability to understand how to estimate the value of a company, and the ability to go into the details of its operation. · To learn how to monitor the performance and risk of an investment portfolio and how to communicate the results within the organization. · To learn what the key legal documents are, what risks investors should seek to protect themselves from, and what the principles of good corporate governance are.
    • Candidate Profile

    We are seeking talented individuals to join our team at our Grono office in Graubünden, Switzerland. As an intern, you will become an integral part of the Investment Team and will play a crucial role within the deal making process. This internship is open to: Requirements: · Recent graduates or Master students enrolled in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. · Microsoft Office · Fluency in English Good to have: · Fluency in Italian · Experience in Database Creation and Management (SQL, Access, etc.)  
    • Location and Working Conditions

      • Location: the internship will take place in person at our office in Grono (Graubünden, CH), with the possibility of flexibly carrying out some hours remotely.
      • Accommodation: if deemed necessary, accommodation will be made available under favorable terms in Bellinzona (Ticino, CH).
      • Salary: the monthly compensation for the internship is CHF 1,000.
      • Duration: six months with the possibility of being extended.
